Job summary

Walmart Sam's Club is seeking a Maintenance Associate in Charlotte, NC to keep parking lots, restrooms, and floors clean and safe. You will be on your feet throughout shifts, supporting a positive member experience and adapting to varying tasks in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes safety, cleanliness, and efficient maintenance operations, including use of floor scrubbers, disposal of waste, and proper chemical handling. Benefits are available to eligible associates.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Maintains safety of Facility by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines including conducting safety sweeps, forklift spotting procedures, hazardous materials handling and disposal, and reporting unsafe situations to Management.
• Cleans all areas of the Facility (floors, windows, restrooms, trash receptacles) following Company procedures and using approved chemicals, supplies, tools, and equipment.
• Ensures a safe and clean environment for Members and Associates by performing maintenance, responding to spills, operating floor scrubbers, and disposing of cardboard, plastic, and trash per the Environmental Sustainability Program.
• Maintains appropriate levels of Company-approved chemicals and supplies, rotates stock, stores them properly, and places orders when supplies are low.
