Job summary

Sam's Club in the Sacramento area is seeking a Maintenance Associate to keep parking lots, restrooms, and floors clean. You will be on your feet throughout shifts, adapt to changes, and prioritize member satisfaction.

Responsibilities include safety compliance, cleaning duties, spills response, and stocking supplies while following Walmart's Environmental Program. Competitive hourly wages and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to stand and move for the entire shift.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Willing to perform physically demanding tasks and lift/move supplies as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintains safety of Facility by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines including conducting safety sweeps, forklift spotting procedures, hazardous materials handling, and reporting unsafe situations to Management.
• Cleans all areas of the Facility (floors, windows, restrooms, trash receptacles) per Company procedures using approved chemicals, supplies, tools, and equipment.
• Ensures a safe and clean environment for Members and Associates by responding to spills, operating floor scrubbers, and disposing of cardboard, plastic, and trash per Environmental Sustainability Program.
• Maintains levels of Company-approved chemicals and supplies, rotates stock, stores containers properly, and places orders when low.
