Job summary

The Waters of Cheatham is seeking a Maintenance Assistant (PRN/PT) to support the maintenance team in planning, organizing, and directing the department’s daily operations. The role emphasizes safe, well-maintained facilities and adherence to regulations, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of maintenance practices and facility regulations.
• Familiarity with preventative maintenance concepts.
• Ability to supervise external contractors per contracts/work orders.

Responsibilities

• Inspect storage rooms, work rooms, and closets for upkeep and supply control.
• Participates in facility surveys made by authorized governmental agencies
• Ensures that outside services are properly completed/supervised in accordance with contracts/work orders
• Assists in establishing a preventative maintenance program
• Completes carpentry and other building repairs within the scope of expertise
