Job Summary
Our Facilities Maintenance Staff are passionate about excellence and deliver exceptional service to members and guests. They frequently participate in overseeing building and grounds maintenance and cleanliness.
Job Responsibilities:
- Create custom Member and guest experiences by delivering exceptional hospitality.
- Maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization in the work area and shop.
- Comply with all safety and health department codes and procedures. Maintain Company Safety and Sanitation Standards.
- Willingness to assist in pool maintenance when needed.
- Performs general repairs and maintenance tasks for all areas within the club including but not limited to general electrical, plumbing, mechanical, carpentry, painting, cleaning, and trimming of vegetation, evaluating the work orders, determining the resources needed to complete the task, notifying supervisors of the work completed, and completing work order documentation.
- Maintains cleanliness and appearance of all areas of the facility including but not limited to, emptying trash cans and ashtrays, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and arranging furniture.
- Conducts routine building inspections as assigned, including inspecting floor coverings, window coverings, walls, ceilings, air vents and returns, electrical fixtures, and plumbing fixtures.
- Performs preventative maintenance inspections on regular equipment and systems as assigned, including freezers, refrigerators, general appliances, air handlers, HVAC equipment, sound systems, exercise equipment, pools, hot tubs, and general equipment for the facility.
- Identify and report to supervisor when supplies are needed.
- Performs other duties as required.
Experience:
- Preferred but not required; at least 1 years’ experience in maintenance.
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude.
- Problem solving skills.
- Caring individual who wants others to succeed as a team.
- Ability to provide customer service with a smile.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- This is a part time position.
