Our goal each and every day is to provide care, comfort, and respect to our residents. We are looking for an individual with skill, ability, and compassion to fulfill our full-time Maintenance Assistant Technician position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance, service, and repair of the interior and exterior of our communities, including HVAC, appliances, plumbing, electrical, painting, general labor, and lawn/landscaping.
- Respond to maintenance requests for items needing repair in residents' rooms.
- Maintain positive communication with the local fire marshal, building inspector, and other jurisdictions governing the community.
- Drive the facility bus to take residents to appointments.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- 2-5 years of general maintenance experience, including painting, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, etc.
- Knowledge of building equipment, codes, and systems.
- Flexibility with schedule, including availability to work weekends.
- Enjoy working with seniors.
- Detail-oriented, customer service-focused, self-motivated, able to work independently and in a team, with good communication skills.
- Provide proof of a clean driving record and have reliable transportation.
- Neat in appearance and punctual.
- Valid Florida Driver's License.
