Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent is typically required.
• Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of general hand tools, power tools, and minor plumbing, electrical, or carpentry tasks.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy objects, stand or walk for long shifts, climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions.
• Soft Skills: Good communication, teamwork, reliability, and attention to detail.
• License: A valid driver's license may be required if operating company vehicles or traveling between sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic repairs such as fixing leaky faucets, patching drywall, replacing light bulbs, and clearing clogged drains.
• Check doors, windows, locks, lighting, and plumbing fixtures regularly to spot wear and safety hazards.
• Empty outside trash and handle snow or ice removal on walkways.
• Keep toolrooms, storage areas, and supply closets clean, organized, and stocked.
• Follow all workplace safety rules, properly handle cleaning chemicals and tools, and report major issues to a supervisor.
