Job summary

Topaz Fiscal Services LLC is seeking a motivated maintenance assistant to support the Maintenance Supervisor in keeping buildings, equipment, and grounds in good condition. The role emphasizes safety, resident and visitor service, and adherence to regulations while supporting healthcare/office operations.

The position requires reliability, flexibility to work weekends and overtime, and the ability to perform minor repairs and everyday maintenance as directed.

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance experience preferred, but not required as long as the level of experience is at a level necessary to perform the duties of this job.
• Must be capable of maintaining regular attendance.
• Must be able to work weekends and overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor repairs and day-to-day maintenance of the building, equipment, lawn, and grounds as directed.
• Keep equipment and work areas clean, safe, and obstruction-free.
• Participate in disasters and fire drills as needed.
• Follow all safety rules and regulations.
• Hang bulletin boards, pictures, and items in residents' rooms and common areas.
• Report incidents or accidents to the Maintenance Supervisor promptly.
• May perform floor care as needed.
• Must be able to work weekends and overtime as required.
• Must have regular attendance.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in writing and verbally in a healthcare/office setting.
• Must be able to problem solve, if needed.
