Job summary

Smalley Steel Ring Company in Lake Zurich, IL is seeking a Facilities role to maintain the building and test/repair equipment. The position runs on the 1st shift with a base hourly salary range and full-time hours.

Responsibilities include cleaning, setup of spaces, and supporting cross‑departmental production as needed. Candidates should pass basic math and English exams and be authorized to work in the US on a permanent basis.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
• Ability to pass basic math and English exams.

Responsibilities

• Maintain entire building – both inside and outside.
• Inspect and test machinery and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and clean machinery, including building, factory machines and rolling mills, checking oil levels and fans.
• Install and repair electrical and plumbing equipment.
• Set up and organize office and event spaces.
• Participate in cross‑departmental work production based on business needs.
