Job summary

American Implement is seeking a Facilities/Lot Maintenance Technician for our Goodland dealership. This role maintains the store facilities, lot and grounds through routine maintenance, keeping the property looking professional and safe.

The ideal candidate is self-driven, can identify needed improvements, and will report to the Service Manager. Must pass pre-employment drug screen and have a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• Ability to operate a forklift.
• Knowledge of safety hazards and proper use of cleaning and sanitizing solutions.
• Basic electrical, plumbing, and carpentry skills.
• Ability to work independently with little or no supervision, self-motivated.
• Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail.
• Experience working cooperatively in a team environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and maintains shop facilities.
• Maintains grounds including lawn, equipment displays, and parking lot.
• Removes snow and debris from sidewalks and in front of buildings.
• Performs minor building maintenance and repairs.
• Services, assembles and replaces things like light bulbs, filters, fixtures and displays.
• Notifies management of the need for repairs that cannot be completed in house.
• UPS Freight, Mail, Supplies and other errands.
• Parts & Service Runner when needed.
• Washes, cleans and details shop vehicles and equipment as needed.
• Helps set up for meetings, lunches, or special events.
• Demonstrates a constant commitment to customer service.
• Maintains a positive and professional working relationship with peers and management.
• Follows all safety rules and regulations of the company.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
