American Implement in Goodland, KS is seeking a Service Technician to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair agricultural equipment. You will work on-site to keep producers running and present a professional image.

The role requires 3–5 years of maintenance experience, John Deere certification or equivalent, and knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. A valid driver's license and diagnostic tools proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years' experience in maintenance and repair of agricultural equipment
• John Deere Technician graduate or equivalent
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
• Experience using diagnostic equipment
• Ability to operate vehicles and equipment for diagnostics
• Computer skills
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Set of tools to perform equipment repairs and maintenance
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Responsabilités

• Analyze, troubleshoot, and perform electrical and mechanical repairs on agricultural equipment
• Diagnose and plan effective and efficient repairs of machinery
• Prepare all reports and forms required with work assignments
• Follow production schedules and requirements for completion of assignments
• Participate in service training programs for skill development
• Maintain vehicles, tools, and equipment in good condition
• Keep work area clean and orderly
• Comply with safety rules and regulations; follow safety precautions while operating vehicles, machinery, and equipment
• Provide professional and courteous service, presenting a positive image of the company
• Perform other service tasks as directed by the Service Manager or Service Department Foreman
