Responsibilities

  • Coordinate well-defined multi-disciplined packaging projects from inception to project completion in support of site operations.
  • Coordinate information across the project team to facilitate project execution.
  • Identify technical problems and develop problem-solving solutions with the project manager.
  • Oversee the application of cGMP principles for the workplace and promote safety by following site procedures.
  • Oversee development of assigned project design documents and coordinate with outside A&E firms on designs and deliverables.
  • Coordinate design meetings, transmittal of information and document review with the project manager.
  • Assist in the preparation of project estimates for design, equipment, installation, labor, materials and other costs.
  • Assist the project manager in preparing bid packages for construction, equipment, and facilities expansion.
  • Oversee assigned packaging project contract work and inspect progress for conformance to drawings and schedules.
  • Ensure safety regulations are followed and contractors receive necessary orientation and training.
  • Review and manage contract services to meet drawings, specifications and schedules.

Description:

  • Coordinate well-defined multi-disciplined packaging projects from inception to project completion in support of site operations ensuring safety, regulatory compliance, company standards, operational requirements, and business needs. Coordinate information across the project team to facilitate project execution. Identify technical problems and develop problem-solving solutions with the project manager.
  • Oversee the application of the cGMP principles for the workplace. Will also promote safety within the workplace by following site safety procedures.
  • Oversee development of assigned project design documents. Along with the project manager will coordinate and review work with outside A&E firm relating to designs and deliverables (drawings, specifications, etc.). In conjunction with the project manager will coordinate design meetings, transmittal of information and document review.
  • Provide support in the preparation of project estimates for design, equipment, installation, labor, materials, and other related costs. Assist the project manager in the preparation of bid packages for construction, equipment, and facilities expansion.
  • Oversee assigned packaging project contract work. Inspect work progress to ensure conformance to established drawings, specifications, schedules, and safety regulations. Assure contractors receive necessary orientation and training.
  • Have good verbal and written skills. Can articulate issues and solutions to the team. Can produce effective project reports and presentations.
  • Can effectively interact and collaborate with team members. Demonstrates respect for others. Encourages team participation.
  • Capable of simultaneously managing multiple assignments. Organizes daily activities to assure timely completion of assignments. Flexible and responsive to changes and schedules.
  • Can analyze problems and provide support in determining appropriate corrective and preventative actions.
  • Ability to review and manage contract services. Assure conformance to established drawings, specifications, schedules, and regulatory/safety requirements.
