Job summary

Highland Spring is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the strategic and operational management of our Ochils site in Blackford, Perthshire. The role is full-time and on-site, focusing on keeping facilities safe, compliant and ready to support production needs.

You will lead audits, manage budgets, drive capital projects, and develop a long-term facilities strategy aligned with growth. Experience in manufacturing environments and IWFM/NEBOSH/IOSH qualifications are highly

Qualifications

• 7–10 years’ experience in facilities management, including at least 3 years within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong project management experience, particularly around facilities upgrades and capital projects.
• Experience developing facilities improvement plans and delivering major projects.
• The ability to manage budgets and identify cost savings without compromising service or quality.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of facilities management across The Ochils, balancing long‑term planning with day‑to‑day site needs.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations and maintain all required statutory documentation.
• Lead facilities‑related audits, inspections and regulatory visits, ensuring actions are completed.
• Develop and implement a facilities strategy aligned with operational goals and future growth.
• Build and maintain a long‑term facilities upgrade roadmap to improve resilience, safety and compliance.
• Lead energy efficiency, sustainability and environmental improvement initiatives.
• Oversee preventative and reactive maintenance across the site.
• Manage critical utilities including HVAC, compressed air, power, water and waste.
• Plan and deliver capital projects, refurbishments and site upgrades.
• Ensure manufacturing infrastructure is supported and downtime is minimized.
• Manage third‑party contractors and suppliers, ensuring safety and compliance.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement, efficiency and accountability.
