Job summary

Goodwill of Middle Georgia is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee maintenance, repairs, and daily operations across its campuses and external sites. You will supervise the facilities team, coordinate with external vendors, and ensure safety and compliance across all properties.

The role requires hands-on leadership, budget awareness, and strong communication with stakeholders to deliver reliable, high-quality services. Experience in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry is preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and vendor-management capabilities.
• Highly skilled in preventative maintenance, building systems, and safety compliance.
• Excellent communication skills, both client and team-facing.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of Facilities Maintenance Foreman and technicians.
• Serve as primary liaison for external customers.
• Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance across multiple properties.
• Implement timely repairs including carpentry, plumbing, painting, and electrical.
• Monitor budgets and coordinate external contractors for major projects.
• Maintain inventories and procure supplies.
• Ensure health, safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Respond to emergencies and document maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with staff and leadership on improvement projects.
