Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Facility Lead to manage day-to-day operations for the Los Angeles office, ensuring a safe, efficient workplace. You will oversee facility services, vendor coordination, budgeting, health and safety compliance, and space management while partnering with HR, IT, Security, Finance, and HSE.

This onsite role requires coordinating moves, renovations, and sustainability initiatives, with a focus on enhancing employee experience and operational effectiveness.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 4+ years in facility management, office operations, or related field.
• Experience managing vendors, budgets, facility projects, and workplace operations.
• Knowledge of workplace health and safety, security, business continuity, and sustainability practices.
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage multiple priorities and complex issues.
• Strong organizational, communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and workplace management systems.
• Ability to build effective relationships across all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily facility operations to support business objectives.
• Serve as primary contact for landlords, property management, contractors, vendors, and service providers.
• Manage facility budgets, invoices, purchase requests, financial reporting, and annual planning activities.
• Coordinate workplace services including reception, mail, records management, space utilization, and workplace systems.
• Support office moves, renovations, furniture reconfigurations, and facility improvement projects.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, security, business continuity, and sustainability policies.
• Coordinate onboarding and offboarding, office access management, visitor management, and emergency communications.
• Maintain facility, lease, utilization, sustainability, and compliance records and reporting.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to support operational needs.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff and share best practices.
• Identify opportunities to improve workplace efficiency and employee experience.
