Job summary
LaBelle Winery is seeking a Facilities Assistant for its Amherst and Derry locations. The role requires hands-on maintenance across carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general mechanical systems. You will support event setups, vineyard upkeep, and safety compliance, while mentoring junior staff as needed.
The position is full-time, with day shifts from Monday to Friday and weekend availability. Salary ranges from $28.00 to $30.00 per hour, in person at NH locations.
Qualifications
- Experience in facilities/maintenance roles.
- Strong multi-trade knowledge across carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Experience training or mentoring junior maintenance staff is a plus.
- Must have a valid Driver's License.
Responsibilities
- Monitor vendors and requirements for the facility (e.g., waste removal).
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Perform skilled carpentry, painting, remodeling, and refurbishing of interior and exterior spaces.
- Diagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, and general mechanical systems.
- Assist with maintenance of LaBelle Lights and lead in construction for events.
- Manage snow removal, irrigation, and landscape maintenance.
