Job summary

Journeyman Distillery seeks a Facilities Assistant to support day-to-day operations of our historic and busy site. You will help keep spaces safe, functional, and welcoming, assist with repairs, events, and routine upkeep across buildings and grounds.

Core duties include cleaning, landscape maintenance, equipment upkeep, and light carpentry, with opportunities to engage in company events and ongoing facility projects. Join a team that values craftsmanship and care in every detail.

Qualifications

• Must be able to use tools and equipment safely and effectively.
• Ability to perform physical tasks for extended periods.
• Comfort with lifting up to 100 pounds occasionally and 50 pounds frequently.

Responsibilities

• Perform general facilities cleaning duties such as mopping, sweeping, waxing floors, washing windows and dusting furniture.
• Remove trash and maintain outside cleanliness of facilities and vehicles.
• Assist with mowing, grounds-keeping and upkeep of lawn equipment.
• Maintain distillery equipment and assist with deliveries and warehouse cleanliness.
• Assist with supply pickups, furniture assembly and basic carpentry tasks.
• Paint interior/exterior walls as needed and assist with snow removal.
