Job summary

Redwood Materials is seeking an experienced Facilities Supervisor to oversee daily activities across office and production facilities in Reno, NV. The role leads a skilled technical team, coordinates maintenance across electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, and control systems, and drives continuous improvement in maintenance practices.

Ideal candidates will have a technical BS, 5+ years of leadership experience, and a hands-on, collaborative approach focused on reliability and sustainability

Qualifications

• BS in a technical field (required).
• 5+ years of relevant experience with proven team leadership capability.
• At least two years of experience supporting Facilities Maintenance and Operations or Production organizations.
• Ability to troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis on equipment failures at a high level.
• Self-motivated, hands-on mindset with a willingness to contribute at all levels.
• Passion for sustainability and making an impact.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule daily technician activity and supervise execution.
• Provide training and mentoring to a team of skilled technical staff.
• Act as shift lead for escalations and incident management on shift.
• Develop and report on team KPIs and related activities.
• Understand and apply root cause analysis concepts to improve maintenance operations.
• Develop, review, and improve standard maintenance procedures and processes.
• Manage basic projects and oversee contractors and 3rd party work.
• Collaborate across operations and engineering teams to support growth and continuous improvement.
