Job summary

Redwood Materials Inc. is seeking an experienced Facilities Electrical Technician to support both office and production facilities.

You will manage daily work requests, perform electrical system checks, and lead light electrical construction activities in a fast-paced startup environment. The role requires a Nevada Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent experience, 2+ years in facilities maintenance, and the ability to lift heavy objects.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician license in Nevada or 8+ years as a qualified electrical worker in manufacturing, mining, or power generation.
• At least two years of experience supporting Facilities Maintenance, Operations or Production organizations.
• Physical ability to lift heavy materials (<50lb).
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical systems at a high level.
• Self-motivated, hands-on mindset, with a willingness to contribute at all levels.
• Working with and maintaining tools and equipment necessary to perform work duties.
• A passion for sustainability and making the world a better place!

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain facility infrastructure electrical systems including medium and low voltage equipment and distribution.
• Operate cranes, forklifts, and small construction equipment.
• Troubleshoot and provide maintenance support for electrical systems and equipment as needed.
• Work on non-electrical equipment as required to support the larger team’s goals.
• Manage basic projects and provide oversight of contractors and 3rd party work.
• Create and implement basic facilities Standard Work Instructions.
• Complete daily tasks list and facilities work requests.
• Respond to and troubleshoot general facilities issues.
• Work cross functionally across our operations teams on a variety of projects to support team growth and our continuous improvement goals.
