Job summary

ABM Industries is seeking an experienced Lead to supervise facility operations and ensure adherence to policies. You will delegate tasks, provide guidance, and oversee cleaning operations while maintaining safety standards for workers and customers.

Responsibilities include scheduling, training, and coordinating with the Area Manager. This role involves handling equipment and chemicals, with opportunities for growth in a veteran-friendly, large-scale services environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma, GED, or college degree is not required.
• 1 year of similar work experience preferred.
• 1 year of customer service experience preferred.
• 1 year of lead or supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow assigned work schedules, route cards as directed; report barriers.
• Provide leadership and direction to team members.
• Maintain open communication between field staff and management; document client communications.
• Assist with daily and weekly work scheduling.
• Oversee and perform cleaning operations in assigned building.
• Manage keys and access cards for the property.
• Report damaged, broken and out-of-work items.
• Oversee additional service requests and ensure completion with Area Manager.
• Supervise quality of jobs and confirm completion with Area Manager.
• Provide training for new hires per onboarding procedures.
• Complete and validate time records for regular or subcontractor staff.
• Check supplies, equipment, and chemicals weekly.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
