Job summary

Glacier Bank Park is seeking a skilled Building Mechanic to maintain and improve facilities, equipment, and systems. This full-time role leads maintenance tasks, teaches others, and coordinates with vendors to complete projects efficiently.

Responsibilities include inspections, repairs, and seasonal readiness, with early mornings for winter operations. The position requires reading blueprints and manuals, strong troubleshooting, and safe work practices in various weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Experience in building or facility maintenance, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, or related fields.
• Ability to read blueprints, mechanical drawings, system manuals, and equipment documentation.
• Knowledge of safety standards including OSHA, NFPA, EPA, ASHRAE.
• Strong troubleshooting and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, maintenance, repairs, and improvements on building systems and finishes.
• Lead assigned projects from planning through completion.
• Teach and supervise other personnel on basic maintenance tasks.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors for estimates and service scheduling.
• Open/close procedures, seasonal preparations, and weather-related readiness.
• Maintain records of inspections, maintenance, and servicing.
• Assist with snow/ice removal and event setup/tear-down.
