Responsibilities
  1. Perform general building and grounds maintenance and repairs at WCS program locations.
  2. Ensure facilities meet all agency, contractual, and regulatory requirements related to maintenance, repair, sanitation, and safety.
  3. Identify repair needs and inform supervisors; prioritize and complete repairs accordingly.
  4. Respond to emergencies, including after hours and on-call situations.
  5. Purchase and maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
  6. Respond to emergency repair needs across WCS facilities and attend required training and meetings.
  7. Drive facilities vehicles as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Two years of experience or training in building maintenance.
  • Knowledge of painting, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and building repairs.
  • Valid Wisconsin driver’s license, auto insurance, and clean background checks.
  • Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
Work Conditions

Indoor and outdoor work year-round, with local travel. Work primarily performed independently, reporting to the facility director. Must demonstrate professionalism, cultural sensitivity, and adherence to agency policies.
