Title: Facilities Laborer

Reports to: Facilities Manager

Department: Facilities

Required Permits/Licensing/Registration: Marijuana Establishment Agent Card, Valid Driver's License, Forklift and Scissor Lift Certification

FLSA Status:Non-Exempt

Supervisory Responsibilities: N/A

Overview:

Following policies set forth by the Company, provide support through the performance of tasks such as general facility upkeep, supporting new construction projects or renovations, and repair or installation of facility equipment.

Essential Functions:

Conduct maintenance tasks including, but not limited to:

• Repairing inoperative lighting fixtures
• Repairing broken locks and door hardware
• Filling gaps in walls or base molding
• Window sealing/Repair
• Painting as needed
• Miscellaneous custodial work
• Assist with minor HVAC and plumbing repairs
• Install appliances
• Transporting materials throughout facility
• Repairing property structures
• Maintain company campus in a good state of repair
• Collaborate with multiple departments during renovations or new construction projects
• Receive, organize, and maintain inventory of all construction material shipments
• Report issues to Maintenance Agent and the Facility Manager
• Fulfill assigned responsibilities in line with procedures set forth by all department Standard Operating Procedures and subsequent training.
• Other duties as assigned

Job Specifications:

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, management, governmental agencies, community members and the general public.

Requirements

Must be a minimum of 21 years of age

Must pass any and all required background checks

Must be and remain compliant with any and all legal or company regulations for working in the industry

Minimum Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

Previous maintenance experience preferred

Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered, including internal experience.

Working Conditions:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to perform grasping, walking, lifting, talking, hearing, seeing, standing, sitting, bending, twisting, climbing, and repetitive motions.

The position requires safe and extensive use of hand and power tools

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Must be able to lift, carry, and balance up to 50 pounds (100 pounds with assistance)

Must be able to tolerate dusty, strong-smelling marijuana odors, and be able to tolerate exposure to the product.
