Job summary

The Boulder Site of Novo Nordisk is seeking a Facilities Specialist to support the facilities group with work orders, planned and unplanned maintenance, and repairs. You will coordinate with internal operations and external contractors, ensuring timely resolution and smooth building operations.

Responsibilities include scheduling maintenance, troubleshooting equipment, and assisting with EH&S, Engineering and Lab Support teams.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required with 3+ years of related experience.
• Equivalent experience for an advanced degree: Associate's degree with 1+ year experience.
• 2+ years’ experience in facility maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Schedule preventative maintenance and manage external vendors.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, hoods and other equipment.
• Coordinate maintenance services and manage work orders from inception to resolution.
• Assist with facilities systems and support EH&S, Engineering and Lab Support.
• Communicate maintenance needs to onsite facilities manager.
• Manage facilities software such as security, work order, and BAS systems.
• Assist with lab equipment maintenance during contractor visits.
• Perform other related duties as required.
