Job summary

Novo Nordisk is seeking a Facilities Maintenance professional to provide and coordinate maintenance and services for the facility in a cost-effective manner. Reports to Manager, Facilities & Utilities Maintenance; requires hands-on building upkeep and safety compliance.

The role emphasizes managing service contracts, keeping the facility in good condition, and supporting warehouse tasks. Strong communication and OSHA knowledge are valued, with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in engineering, business or planning, or an equivalent combination of education & experience a plus
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in facilities maintenance or similar field
• Building maintenance knowledge/experience required
• Basic knowledge of OSHA regulations preferred
• Good communication & writing skills a plus
• Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel) preferred

Responsibilities

• Follows all safety & environmental requirements in the performance of duties
• Assists in management & execution of contracts for services while improving value
• Maintains the facility & responds timely to building maintenance requests
• Responsible for physical condition of building & grounds
• Performs work relating to general repair of buildings such as installing & relocating building or office fixtures & minor repairs
• Participates with spill response & first aid teams in coordination with EHS
• Updates Facility Management share-point site & records
• Supports execution of shipping, receiving & non-GMP warehouse tasks as needed
• Provides back up support for waste management
• Other accountabilities, as assigned
