Job summary

Novo Nordisk in North Carolina is seeking a Facilities Maintenance professional to coordinate and carry out cost-effective maintenance and services for the site. This role reports to the Manager, Facilities & Utilities Maintenance and supports safe, compliant operations across production areas.

Responsibilities include safety compliance, contract execution, grounds maintenance, and coordination of repairs. 5+ years of relevant experience and an Associate's Degree are preferred, with strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level knowledge of facilities maintenance best practices is required
• Strong communication and writing skills are a plus
• MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) proficiency preferred

Responsibilities

• Follows all safety & environmental requirements in the performance of duties
• Assists in management & execution of contracts for services while improving value
• Maintains the facility & responds timely to building maintenance requests
• Responsible for physical condition of building & grounds
• Performs basic repairs and carpentry tasks
• Participates with spill response & first aid teams with EHS
• Updates Facility Management share-point site & records
• Supports shipping, receiving & non-GMP warehouse tasks as needed
• Provides back up support for waste management
