Job summary

AUMOVIO seeks a Facilities & Kaizen Engineering Intern for Summer 2027 at our automotive manufacturing facility in New Braunfels, Texas. This full-time, on-site internship provides hands-on learning in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and spans 12 weeks from May 17, 2027 to August 6, 2027.

You will work on Kaizen initiatives, support facilities projects, and collaborate with engineering professionals in a global organization.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited college or university.
• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA.

Responsibilities

• Drive safety, quality, productivity, cost, and Kaizen improvements for the plant.
• Participate in problem solving using 5 Why, 8D, Cause and Effect, and Fishbone diagrams.
• Assist in facilities setup and improvement projects.
• Support other engineering duties and projects as assigned.
