Job summary

ABM Industries in Los Angeles, CA is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day operations at multiple buildings within the district. You will lead Project Managers and Supervisors to ensure conformance with contract requirements and drive cost-control measures.

Responsibilities include coordinating services, managing supplies and personnel, interacting with customers, and implementing process improvements while ensuring compliance with all regulations.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required.
• Experience in cost estimating/pricing work required.
• Must have working knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and chemical handling/storage procedures.
• Must be able to write reports and business correspondence and effectively present information to managers and customers.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate service activities for assigned buildings. Ensure that services are performed as contracted and at the intended profit margins.
• Control supplies, equipment, and personnel necessary to meet customer specifications.
• Interact with customers daily to obtain feedback on services and special needs.
• Troubleshoot potential problems and concerns.
• Manage the company’s quality control monitoring and safety programs at the assigned buildings.
• Conduct quality of service inspections at assigned buildings.
• Develop operational improvement plans and implement process changes within assigned buildings.
• Increase revenue by seeking additional periodic services for customers.
