Challenge Manufacturing in Spartanburg, SC, is seeking a dependable janitor to maintain clean, safe, and organized facilities across the plant. You will follow standard work, perform routine cleaning, and support operations to meet company standards.

This first shift (5:30 AM–1:30 PM, M-F) offers consistent hours. Candidates should have a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years janitorial experience; the role requires English literacy and the ability to work up to 12 hours daily

Competenze

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Associates Degree.
• Minimum 2 years of professional janitorial experience.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English sufficiently to perform job duties, including following work instructions, safety procedures, and company communications.
• Must be able to work up to 12 hours per day, including Saturdays and Sundays.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and company communications.

Who We Want:

Performs janitorial duties necessary to maintain and protect the assigned areas of responsibility. Ensures that external and internal appearance of a building is clean, organized and meets Company standards.

What You’ll Do:

• Clean and make minor repair to building fixtures including lights, locks, windows, doors, screens, walls, floors, gutters, and drains.
• Clean, sanitize, and stock restrooms/locker rooms using established practices and procedures.

When and Where:

This will be a 1st Shift / 5:30 AM - 1:30 PM M-F position located at our Plant in Spartanburg, SC.

What You Need to Have:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Associates Degree
• Minimum 2 years of professional janitorial experience.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English at a level sufficient to safely and effectively perform job duties, including following work instructions, safety procedures, and company communications.
• Has high standards of performance for self.

• Proven experience as janitor or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of use and maintenance of industrial cleaning equipment and appliances.
• Familiarity with handyman and basic landscaping practices.
• Attention to detail and conscientiousness.
• Respectful and able to take direction.
• Able to work with little supervision.
