Job summary

Diversified Maintenance is hiring a Janitor to perform all-purpose cleaning and preservation of assigned areas inside a particular building or multiple client sites. The role is flexible to meet client specifications and includes full-time and part-time shifts.

Responsibilities include maintaining floors, cleaning restrooms and common areas, dusting, trash disposal, and adhering to housekeeping schedules. A high school diploma or six months of janitorial experience is required or on-the-job

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in custodial work is a plus but not required.
• Ability to follow client specifications and safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces including sweeping and mopping.
• Use cleaning chemicals safely and operate cleaning equipment.
• Clean restrooms, corridors, and entrance areas, and empty trash.
• Clean windows and maintain general cleanliness of assigned areas.
• Follow housekeeping schedules and assist with other duties as needed.
