Job summary

Diversified Maintenance is seeking a Janitor to perform all-purpose cleaning and preservation of assigned areas within client sites. You will be responsible for daily floor care, restroom maintenance, and trash disposal, while following safety and cleaning protocols.

This full-time role offers steady workload and weekly pay. Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent or at least six months of janitorial experience, and possess attention to detail with the ability to follow

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or six months janitorial experience.
• On-the-job training will be provided.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and other objects.
• Clean, monitor and maintain restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and entrance areas.
• Empty trash cans for proper disposal; use of compactor for certain materials.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using appropriate cleaners and equipment.
• Spot clean carpets; assist in carpet extractions and shampooing.
• Replenish paper products and sanitary supplies.
• Follow housekeeping schedule.
• Occasionally use heavy cleaning equipment, such as floor scrubbers, backpack vacuums, and buffers.
• Other duties as assigned, as required by the scope of work or customer needs
