Job summary

The Meadows Psychiatric Center in Central Pennsylvania is seeking a Maintenance Technician with IT duties to repair, inspect, and maintain equipment and building systems. You will support the Director of Plant Operations, respond to work orders, and help manage IT hardware and network components to ensure safety and continuity of services.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma (associate IT/IS preferred), HVAC/electrical/plumbing knowledge, and 1–3 years healthcare maintenance

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in IT/IS preferred.
• HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical repairs, carpentry, woodwork, drywall, painting responsibilities required.
• Minimum 1–3 years maintenance experience in healthcare or similar setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, plumbing issues and repair machinery.
• Assist Director of Plant Operations with routine maintenance and basic repairs.
• Respond to work orders and keep maintenance records.
• Ensure safety and functional environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
• Coordinate facility-level IT installations, upgrades, and security for hardware, software, servers, and network infrastructure.
