LB&B Associates is currently seeking a full-time Facilities HVAC Technician to support a contract to provide operations and mechanical maintenance in Rutland, VT (Federal Building).
Hourly Pay Rate: $41.20 per hour. Health & Welfare Pay: $7.50 per hour (up to 40 hours per week). This full-time union position offers vacation, sick leave, paid holidays and pension plan in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement. Candidate must be willing to obtain/maintain Nate Certification within 6 months of employment. HVAC Mechanic (Nate Certified) pay rate is $43.26 per hour.
Facilities HVAC Technician must have a minimum of five (5) years experience working on large commercial heating and air conditioning equipment. Candidates must be competent to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on boilers, chillers, hot water heating systems, domestic water plumbing systems, air handlers, VAV components, and other various HVAC equipment and building systems. Candidates must also have general maintenance knowledge on how to operate and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
