Job summary

NAMIC, a division of Medline, located in Glens Falls, NY, is seeking a working coordinator to support housekeeping and facility cleaning in a compliant manufacturing environment. You will coordinate daily tasks, guide team members, and actively perform cleaning duties to maintain standards.

Responsibilities include maintaining records, coordinating across production, warehouse and offices, monitoring supplies, and supporting GMP and sanitation requirements.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of housekeeping and training experience.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical activities necessary to perform one or more essential functions of the position.
• Ability to bend, twist, reach, push, lift for extended periods daily.
• Frequently move, lift, carry supplies/equipment up to 50 lbs.
• and may have to occasionally lift up to 75 lbs.
• Must be able to stand for minimum of 8 hours and up to 12 hours for up to 6 days a week.
• Ability to continuously ascend and descend from ladders and stairs, work at heights and/or from a ladder, work from a lying down position, work with your hands above your head.
• Ability to work overtime and must be available for on-call requests as needed.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily housekeeping assignments and maintain records.
• Serve as point of contact for housekeeping concerns, responding to requests, communicating priorities, and escalating issues as needed.
• Maintain and update housekeeping documentation, cleaning schedules, logs, and other records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Assist with the coordination of housekeeping activities across production, warehouse, office, and common areas to support facility cleanliness and operational requirements.
• Monitor and replenish housekeeping supplies, cleaning chemicals, PPE, and equipment to ensure team members have the resources needed to perform their duties.
• Run basic reports, complete required documentation, and assist in gathering data related to housekeeping performance, inspections, and cleaning activities.
• Support compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), sanitation requirements, and facility cleaning standards.
• Participate in and promote 5S, safety, housekeeping, and continuous improvement activities throughout the facility.
• Assist with the training and onboarding of new housekeeping team members on cleaning procedures, safety practices, and department expectations.
• Perform housekeeping and sanitation duties as a working member of the team, including providing coverage during employee absences, vacancies, and periods of increased workload.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
