Milwaukee County Facilities Management is seeking a Facilities Grounds Worker II to maintain the appearance, safety and functionality of the county's facilities and grounds. This role requires operating CDL vehicles with air brakes and performing routine and preventative maintenance.

Qualifications

• Must be a resident of Wisconsin at time of application.
• CDL Class B with air-brake endorsement required.
• Minimum 1 year of groundskeeping or facilities maintenance experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and push/pull up to 150 lbs.
• Basic knowledge of word processing and spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on vehicles and equipment.
• Work orders and inspections of facilities; maintain grounds.
• Operate heavy equipment and CDL vehicle with airbrakes.
• Assist with snow removal and winter maintenance.
• Lead or supervise other staff when assigned.
• Ensure safety and compliance with DOT regulations.
