Job summary

NeuLife Rehabilitation of Michigan is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support safe and well‑maintained facilities for residents and staff. You will perform maintenance and repairs on buildings, grounds, vehicles, and equipment, complete inspections, and respond to requests while coordinating approved outside work.

You’ll report to leadership, estimate repair costs, and log activities to ensure reliable operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver's license and insurable driving record.
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritize independently.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair of buildings, grounds, vehicles, and equipment.
• Report issues to the Maintenance Manager, Director of Operations, and Executive Director.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance to keep systems operating efficiently.
• Estimate repair costs.
• Order parts and supplies after approval by the Director of Operations.
• Check the maintenance log daily and address issues.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests as required.
• Treat residents with dignity and respect in line with residents' rights.
