Job summary

The Highlands at Wyomissing is seeking a Maintenance/Grounds Technician to help keep our premier senior living community safe, beautiful, and running smoothly. This full-time role covers building maintenance, landscaping, repairs, and snow removal, drawing on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry skills.

You will perform a blend of facility maintenance and campus groundskeeping, joining a team that values safety, quality, and resident service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Some technical training or certification preferred.
• 5+ years of verified maintenance experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform building maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
• Complete electrical, plumbing, and HVAC troubleshooting tasks.
• Maintain plumbing systems and perform minor repairs.
• Service sewer piping and grease traps.
• Paint, drywall, and carpentry work as needed.
• Assist with landscaping and groundskeeping.
• Operate and maintain grounds and facility equipment.
• Complete work orders promptly and accurately.
• Adhere to safety and regulatory training requirements.
