Job summary

Abode Communities is seeking a dedicated janitor to help maintain the property and assist with resident service requests. The role includes cleaning exterior grounds, common areas, laundry rooms, and vacant units, while keeping inventory and reporting needed supplies to the Community Manager.

The position supports regulatory inspections and minor maintenance tasks. Two years of cleaning/maintenance experience is required, along with the ability to read, write, and speak English.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years cleaning maintenance experience.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Ability to communicate effectively with people from diverse cultures and backgrounds.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial duties of the property, including exterior grounds, common areas, and vacant units.
• Maintain supplies inventory and report needed supplies to the Community Manager.
• Assist in inspections by regulatory agencies.
• Support maintenance staff and assist with small repair or painting tasks.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
