Job summary

Powder River Basin Children's Center is seeking a Building and Grounds Maintenance Technician to uphold a safe, clean, and functional environment across its facilities and grounds in Wyoming. You will perform preventative maintenance, repairs, inspections, and groundskeeping to support daily operations.

The role requires experience in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, and related trades, plus a valid driver's license and the ability to pass background checks and a drug test.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of building or facilities maintenance experience and ability to perform repairs across trades.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general building repair.
• Valid driver’s license with insurable driving record.
• Ability to pass required background checks and a drug test.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine facility inspections and repairs across classrooms, offices, cottages, and common areas.
• Carry out preventative maintenance on equipment and systems and troubleshoot issues promptly.
• Install and repair furniture, fixtures, shelving, and equipment while ensuring safety standards and building codes are followed.
• Mow, trim, prune, and maintain lawns and landscaping; snow removal and irrigation tasks as assigned.
