Job summary

The Diocese of Allentown is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform facilities maintenance at Holy Family Villa and the Diocese offices in Bethlehem and Allentown, including basic electric, plumbing, carpentry, painting, grounds, and related services.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma or equivalent, 3–5 years in building maintenance (healthcare preferred), valid driver's license, and the ability to read blueprints, follow safety codes, and coordinate with vendors.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–5 years building maintenance experience required, healthcare preferred.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, heating/AC, roofing, painting, and grounds.
• Ability to read and understand building specifications and blueprints.
• Working knowledge of federal and state building codes and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs at Holy Family Villa and Diocese offices.
• Assist with exterior grounds maintenance, painting, and minor repairs.
• Coordinate with vendors/contractors for maintenance and repairs.
• Oversee HVAC equipment and backup generator maintenance programs.
• Ensure security measures, keys, access badges, and alarm systems are coordinated.
