Job summary

Journeyman Distillery is seeking a Facilities Assistant to help maintain and enhance the heart of our operations. You’ll work behind the scenes to ensure our spaces are safe, functional, and welcoming, supporting repairs, events, and general upkeep on a historic yet efficient site.

Qualifications

• Ability to safely operate tools, equipment and motor vehicles.
• Sustained physical activity with lifting up to 100 lb occasionally.
• Basic carpentry skills for maintenance tasks.
• Experience with general grounds-keeping and facility upkeep.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily facilities cleaning and maintenance tasks.
• Assist with repairs and upkeep of distillery property.
• Support with deliveries and offloading as needed.
• Maintain clean grounds and drive/park company vehicles.
• Assist with seasonal maintenance such as snow removal and painting.
