Job summary

The Children’s Museum of Denver at Marsico Campus is seeking a Facilities Crew Member to keep our campus welcoming, safe, and well-maintained. The role covers grounds, building upkeep, and light repairs on a 40-hour schedule, Tue-Sat, with occasional evenings and events.

Paid benefits include health, dental, vision, vacation and holidays. $20.00–$20.95/hour with a $1 premium for bilingual proficiency. Applicants must be 18+ and eligible for pre-employment screening.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year experience with basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical and HVAC troubleshooting.
• 1 year experience operating landscaping and snow removal equipment.
• Experience using power tools and hand tools.
• Spanish language ability is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections of grounds and facilities to keep a clean, safe environment.
• Conduct routine maintenance: replace HVAC filters, lightbulbs, and monitor systems.
• Complete minor repairs to electrical, plumbing, and building surfaces.
• Maintain records of work, inspections, and inventory.
• Operate landscaping equipment and manage snow removal as needed.
• Support exhibits, events, and facility improvements as assigned.
