Job summary

The Bakken Museum is seeking a Facilities Staff member to maintain daily cleanliness of a 28,000 sq. ft. facility and 3 acres of grounds, including gardens. You will assist with safety, security, maintenance, and support for public and private events.

This role emphasizes DEAI commitments and inclusive service, with part-time hours up to 20 per week, and evening/weekend availability May through October. The position offers pay equity and a comprehensive benefits package for eligible staff.

Qualifications

• One year of relevant work history and commitment to The Bakken Museum.
• Availability for evening and weekend events may be required May–October.
• Position requires up to 20 hours per week with scheduling between Saturday and Tuesday.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of the 28,000 sq ft facility, including exhibits and gardens.
• Support the museum's events with setup and teardown and coordinate with staff/hosts.
• Perform exterior grounds work: landscaping, mowing, shoveling, leaves and gardening.
• Ensure building security and safety and assist with general operations as needed.
