Florida State University in Tallahassee is seeking a Program Manager for Facility & Grounds to co-manage the Northwest Regional Data Center's daily operations, including building and grounds, physical security, utilities, power, emergency backup power, and HVAC.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with four years’ experience in facilities/grounds (or a high school diploma with eight years’ experience), plus a valid Florida or Georgia driver’s license, and the ability to coordinate maintenance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and four years' experience related to facilities and/or grounds services, or a high school diploma with eight years' experience.
• Valid Florida or Georgia driver's license, Class E or ability to obtain one upon hire.

Responsabilités

• Co-manage the daily 24x7x365 facility operations for Northwest Regional Data Center (NWRDC), including building and grounds, physical security, utilities and power, emergency backup power, and HVAC.
• Co-manages all day-to-day facility-related operations and maintenance for NWRDC, including oversight of building and grounds, security, power, backups, and HVAC; manages work orders, contractors, and engagements.
• Manage data center upgrades/changes, maintenance contracts, CRACs and PDUs, and advise leadership on facility needs and plans.
• Provide around-the-clock support and after-hours response for the data center facility.
• Maintain documentation and inventories of data center facility items and changes.
• Some driving of state vehicles to run facility-related errands and participate in professional development.
