Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with two years' experience, or a relevantTechnical or vocational degree may substitute for experience.
• Level 3 requires ten years of external professional experience.
• A valid State of Florida or Georgia Driver’s License or the ability to obtain upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs to mechanical equipment including belts, pulleys, actuators, valves, pneumatics, alignment, compressed air systems, fans, steam traps and pumps.
• Performs preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to electrical equipment including switches, outlets, breakers, motor wiring, fixture replacement, ballasts, and re-lamping.
• Maintains building control systems including actuators, sensors, variable speed drives, thermostats, control wiring, UPS relays and related components.
• Performs plumbing preventive maintenance including repairing faucets, valves, pipes, drains, toilets and related items.
• Completes required safety training and complies with safety standards; reports issues and coordinates with maintenance staff.
• Operates campus vehicles and equipment; uses AiM mobile devices to complete work orders; may perform backup plant operator duties.
