Job summary

West Virginia is seeking a senior maintenance supervisor to coordinate and supervise maintenance projects across 36 DCR facilities in the state. You will oversee skilled and semi-skilled teams, read drawings and plans, and develop cost estimates for timely project completion.

The role requires eight years of relevant experience, a high school diploma, and EPA refrigerant recycling certification where required, with travel between locations and potential exposure to inclement weather.

Qualifications

• Eight years of full-time or equivalent part-time paid experience in building maintenance, building construction, or in the installation and maintenance of building electrical or heating systems.
• Ability to read and interpret specifications, drawings, schematics, and building plans.
• Specific positions may require EPA-certified refrigerant recycling technician as per the Clean Air Act.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise a variety of building and grounds maintenance projects for 36 DCR facilities.
• Oversee work of skilled and semi-skilled maintenance employees and crews.
• Evaluate facilities conditions and propose repairs or improvements.
• Develop project plans, specifications, drawings, schematics, and cost estimates for time and materials.
• Ensure proper skills and training for employees in methods, techniques, tools, and safety precautions.
• Travel to all DCR facility locations; work may involve exposure to weather and heavy machinery hazards.
