Job summary

Rite of Passage is seeking a Maintenance Worker for the Tampa Bay Girls Academy in Tampa, FL. The role involves performing general maintenance, electrical and plumbing tasks, drywall repair, painting, and fleet upkeep at a secure residential program for youth.

You will handle work orders, complete required reports, and ensure safety standards. A high school diploma and valid driver’s license with a clean record are required; experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Prior building maintenance experience preferred.
• Valid state driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform general building maintenance and respond to work orders.
• Change light bulbs, make minor electrical repairs, repair drywall, paint and patch surfaces.
• Maintain locks, hardware, respond to plumbing repairs and routine preventive tasks.
• Maintain the vehicle fleet and document reports in a timely manner.
