Job summary

Tampa Bay Girls Academy is seeking a Facility Maintenance Worker with HVAC certification to join our Tampa facility. The role involves HVAC and general building maintenance, light electrical, plumbing, and safety system upkeep.

Qualifications

• Possess a High School Diploma or GED.
• A valid HVAC certification is required.
• Prior building maintenance experience preferred.
• Valid state driver’s license with clean 3-year record.
• Able to pass background check, drug screen, physical and TB test.
• Excellent organization and time management skills.
• Must be able to work at least 40 hours per week on a designated schedule.

Responsibilities

• Perform general building maintenance tasks.
• HVAC maintenance duties.
• Change light bulbs and minor electrical repairs.
• Repair drywall and painting; sheetrock work.
• Adjust locks and hardware; minor plumbing repairs.
• Unplug drains; relight emergency lighting.
• Maintain smoke detectors and other safety systems.
• Grounds maintenance and upkeep of facilities.
• Maintain the facility vehicle fleet; complete reports on time.
