Job summary

Rite of Passage Team is hiring an Activities Coordinator for Tampa Bay Girls Academy in Tampa, Florida. You will create a positive, safe, and engaging daily schedule of recreational and educational activities for youth ages 12-21 in care.

A BA/BS in therapeutic recreation or equivalent is preferred, and you should be able to supervise students, pass background checks, and meet age and health requirements. This role offers meaningful growth opportunities and a chance to help at-risk youth.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in therapeutic recreation or equivalent preferred.
• Working knowledge of the Positive Operation Culture.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively supervise students.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test.
• Be able to pass a search of the child abuse central registry.

Join a group of passionate advocates on our mission to improve the lives of youth! Rite of Passage Team is hiring for an Activities Coordinator at Tampa Bay Girls Academy in Tampa, Florida

Tampa Bay Girls Academy - Secure is comprised of multiple co-located residential commitment programs serving high-risk and max-risk females' youth aged 12-21. These programs provide services utilizing evidence-based practices to provide comprehensive care, treatment, and supervision. Youth will also receive psychotherapeutic services, including individual, family, and group counseling.

Pay

$40,000 salary
