Job summary

Sea Mar Community Health Centers seeks a dedicated facilities maintenance worker to keep the center clean, safe and welcoming for patients and staff. Responsibilities include housekeeping, yard upkeep, and basic repairs as needed to support a high-quality patient experience.

Responsibilities emphasize safety, attention to detail and teamwork in a busy health-center environment. The role requires driving, basic maintenance tasks and adherence to TB testing annually as part of safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
• No formal experience is required for this job however; experience may be substituted for education. On the Job Training is provided.
• Driver’s license, auto liability insurance and an automobile are required.

Responsibilities

• Performs housekeeping tasks to keep facilities clean, sanitary and attractive for patients and staff.
• Mows, weeds, trims grass and maintains outdoor areas and perimeters.
• Performs maintenance and minor handiwork; reports mechanical issues to supervisor and follows safety precautions.
• Maintains equipment and supplies; assists in basic repairs as needed.
