Job summary

Colonial Group is seeking a maintenance associate responsible for the general maintenance, cleaning, and upkeep of our building and surroundings under the supervision of the Site Supervisor. The role includes keeping rest areas, foyers, and grounds clean; trimming and mulching flower beds; and daily debris removal.

The candidate should be able to lift 50–60 lbs, hold a valid driver’s license, and be willing to work overtime, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Attend in-service training sessions, meetings, and out of town activities as required.
• Promote a positive work environment by treating staff and visitors with courtesy and respect.
• Maintain restrooms, foyer and reception areas in a clean and sanitary state.
• Keep the storage area clean, neat, and secure; report necessary repairs.
• Sweep or hose down parking lots, sidewalks, and walkways; keep them free of snow and ice as appropriate.
• Maintain grounds by raking leaves, mowing, weeding, watering, and mulching.
• Collect trash and remove debris daily.
• Clean windows, countertops, and light fixtures; ensure floors are clean.
• Replace light bulbs as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
